Match Day information

Coming to a Detroit City FC match?

Here’s what you’ll need to know

The Basics

Tickets can be purchased at the match, but it’s better to get them in advance

It will be loud

There will be swearing

Be prepared to stand for the full match (our players don’t get a rest, so we don’t take one either)

Have fun

Don’t be an asshole

Parking

There are several options for parking near the Detroit City Fieldhouse:

Fieldhouse parking: Parking at the Fieldhouse fills up very quick, so unless you get there early, you will probably not find a spot.

King High School:  Overflow parking is available on the other side of Lafayette Boulevard at King High School

Pre-match

Supporters start gathering at the Detroit City Clubhouse, located in the area above the soccer fields at the Detroit City Fieldhouse a couple hours before the match.

The Detroit CIty Clubhouse offers a full range of food and drinks in a family-friendly environment. More information, including hours and a menu, can be found here: https://detroitcityclubhouse.com/

Tickets

Tickets for all matches can be purchased at the gate, but we recommend that you purchase them in advance (don’t risk missing out because the match sold out) from the club’s website.

You can find single-game tickets here or purchase a season ticket here.

The arena

The home of Detroit City Football Club, The Detroit City Fieldhouse can be found at 3401 E. Lafayette St. in Detroit.

The City Fieldhouse — formerly the practice facility for the NHL’s Detroit Red Wings — was renovated by the club in 2018. The facility features the team’s official bar, the Detroit City Clubhouse, and two soccer pitches. The DCFC Women’s team plays on the boarded (west) field.

Fans enter on the ground-level doors to the boarded field (west) side.

Find local businesses, view maps and get driving directions in Google Maps.

The match

The supporters section is on the east side of the stadium (opposite the entrance gate and press box). Everyone is more than welcome to join the Northern Guard Supporters in that section, just please understand that you should expect the following:

  • It will be loud

  • It will be vulgar (if swearing bothers you, the supporter section may not be the place for you)

  • Be prepared to stand for the full 90 (our players don’t get a rest, so we don’t take one, either)

  • Have fun

  • Don’t be an asshole

Merch

NGS merch stands can be found on most match days (keep an eye on NGS merch on Twitter (@ngsmerch) for more details next to the supporters stands before the match.

The merch stand accepts cash and most major credit cards (Visa/Mastercard/American Express).

If you miss us at the match, you can visit our online store at noonelikes.us/shop

Detroit City FC team merchandise can be purchased inside the stadium.

Away days

The Rouge Rovers travel like no other group in lower league soccer. We invade our opponent’s home, make it our own and leave it forever changed.

For details on away days, follow us on Twitter at @NGSDetroit or keep an eye on our events page at noonelikes.us/away-days

The link for away support tickets is usually released two weeks prior to the match. We usually provide it via all NGS social media channels, as well as post a link on noonelikes.us/away-days

When available, we will have a pre-match gathering place announced a week or so before the match (usually a nearby bar).

Finally, we ask that you adhere to all local laws and stadium policies. Oftentimes the rules at other stadiums are different than those at Keyworth Stadium. When applicable will try to communicate those policies before the match to avoid any confusion. More information on away stadium policies can be found at noonelikes.us/away-days
