Pre-match

The New Dodge Lounge is the official pre-match bar of NGS and the spot from which the march to the match departs. The New Dodge can be found at 8850 Jos. Campau in Hamtramck.

There are many local bars worth visiting within walking distance of Keyworth Stadium, including the Fowling WarehouseMotor City Sports Bar, Bumbo’s and the Painted Lady and many more.

If the bar isn’t your thing, the amazing restaurants in Hamtramck are too numerous to count. From Polish food to Arabic and everything in between, it’s hard to find a bad meal in the neighborhoods surrounding the stadium.

If you’d rather get over to Keyworth and get settled in before the game, a host of food trucks and beer tents are available when the gates open 90 minutes prior to kickoff. The food truck lineup can change each game, so check the Detroit City FC Twitter or Facebook accounts for details on who will be there on a given day.

Find local businesses, view maps and get driving directions in Google Maps.

The march to the match

The march leaves the New Dodge Lounge one hour before kickoff. Supporters who pre-game at other bars are encouraged to join the march at the corner of Roosevelt and Gallagher streets 30 minutes prior to the match, where supporters will gather prior to marching into the stadium.

The New Dodge Lounge can be found at 8850 Jos Campau St in Hamtramck.

Tickets

Tickets for all matches can be purchased at the gate, but we recommend that you purchase them in advance (don’t risk missing out because the match sold out) from the club’s website.

You can find single-game tickets here or purchase a season ticket here.

The stadium

The home of Detroit City Football Club, Keyworth Stadium can be found at 3201 Roosevelt St., Hamtramck, MI 48212.

The stadium was built in 1936 as part of the Works Progress Administration and was opened by then-President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. It also played host to then-Democratic Senator John F. Kennedy, who made a campaign stop there in 1960. The stadium is owned by Hamtramck Public Schools and in addition to being the home of DCFC, plays host to football and soccer games for Hamtramck High School.

In 2015-2016, Detroit City FC undertook a crowd-based investment program, raising $741,250 to renovate the stadium from the club’s supporters.

Visitors to the stadium enter at the main gate, at the corner of Roosevelt St. and Gallagher Ave.

Find local businesses, view maps and get driving directions in Google Maps.

The match

The supporters section is on the east side of the stadium (opposite the entrance gate and press box). Everyone is more than welcome to join the Northern Guard Supporters in that section, just please understand that you should expect the following:

  • It will be loud

  • It will be smoky (many supporters bring bandanas or scarves to cover their mouths and noses)

  • It will be vulgar (if swearing bothers you, the supporter section may not be the place for you)

  • Be prepared to stand for the full 90 (our players don’t get a rest, so we don’t take one, either)

  • Have fun

  • Don’t be an asshole

Detroit City FC team merchandise can be purchased inside the stadium.

Away days

The Rouge Rovers travel like no other group in lower league soccer. We invade our opponent’s home, make it our own and leave it forever changed.

For details on away days, follow us on Twitter at @NGSDetroit or keep an eye on our events page at noonelikes.us/away-days

The link for away support tickets is usually released two weeks prior to the match. We usually provide it via all NGS social media channels, as well as post a link on noonelikes.us/away-days

When available, we will have a pre-match gathering place announced a week or so before the match (usually a nearby bar).

Finally, we ask that you adhere to all local laws and stadium policies. Oftentimes the rules at other stadiums are different than those at Keyworth Stadium. When applicable will try to communicate those policies before the match to avoid any confusion. More information on away stadium policies can be found at noonelikes.us/away-days
