After the COVID-19 pandemic changed things up for 2020, Hamtramck’s “Trunk-or-Treat” (brought to you by the Hamtramck Recreation Department) returns once again this year to deliver a great Halloween for the kids in the community!
And like the past couple years, NGS Cares will once again lend a helping for 2021!
First, this year’s event will take place on Thursday, October 28 between 5 pm and 7 pm behind Hamtramck High School on Gallagher. The event will be totally free for ages 13 and under and will offer up decorated vehicles and the opportunity for kids to trick-or-treat in a safe environment.
If you’d like to help, NGS Cares has put together an Amazon wishlist where you can donate candy and/or decorations for the event.
You can view that list here.
Also, if you’re looking to volunteer by hosting a car you can sign up by calling the HHS Community Center at (313) 892-2635. This must be done by Friday, October 22.
Questions can be directed to the HHS Community Center by calling the number or visiting them at 11350 Charest Street in Hamtramck. If you have any questions for NGS Cares, please don’t hesitate to get in touch! We can be reached via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you to everyone who’s able to contribute!
