We are very excited to announce NGS Cares is putting on a Friendsgiving potluck for the Ruth Ellis Center community and we’re looking for volunteers/cookers!

The event will be Monday 11/20 at REC’s facility in Highland Park. Starting at 4 pm we’ll be feeding 80-100 members of their community. If you’re available to bring a dish (or send a dish with another contributor) please email us at ngscares@gmail.com.

So far we’ve got turkey, vegan stuffing, and greens covered—any other dishes are wanted and welcome! Vegan, vegetarian, and meat dishes are all cool, desserts are also a must!

No worries on food allergies, just let us know what dishes will have dairy or meat.

Also, the REC doesn’t have ovens so if anything needs to be warmed up it will need to be in a microwave-safe dish or a crockpot. Please reach out to ngscares@gmail.com for more information or if you'd like to volunteer!
